It’s finally here, Season 4 of Arrested Development!
The episode opens with two great cameos, with Kristen Wigg and Seth Rogen, who portray a younger Lucille Bluth and George Sr. Bluth. It then goes to Michael Bluth hitting a low point in his life with owing $700,000. Out of money and with no where to go he heads to his old house to find GOB living there. There is a very funny scene with GOB forcing roofies down Michael throat. From here it flashes to 6 months earlier where he has abandoned the family and started his own company, Michael Bluth, but the housing market crashes. Flash forward 6 months again and you find Michael dorming with his son in college, where there is a very funny gag on his iPhone calendar being stuck in 2003, when AD first aired. The end of the episode features more cameos from Workaholics cast at the airport, as he departs for Phoenix. All in all it was a pretty good episode and it definitely feels like Arrested Development still, there is still the dry humor and the 1 liners that you have to pay really close attention to. Check it out for yourself at Netflix!
Michael says goodbye to the family business and starts his own. And the life of the family is turned upside down when their mailman Pete dies.
