Hasedera

The last spot on our sight seeing trip was Hase Temple, hosting the Jodo sect, which is the most famous for its statue of Kannon, the goddess of mercy. It was getting even hotter at this point but luckily they had misters going at the top, which host a great view of the coast. The line was also too long to go up to the Kannon statue, but we got to enjoy the flowers blooming and wondered into a cool cave on the lower grounds.
